The Miners are ready for the next match of the European season
On August 6, a day before the away game of the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round against Panathinaikos, Shakhtar players held a training session at the Olympic Stadium of Athens Spyros Louis, the venue for tomorrow’s match.
The first 15 minutes were open to journalists: in accordance with UEFA regulations: media representatives were able to watch the warm-up and some ball exercises performed by Arda Turan’s men. The main part held without the media present was devoted to match preparations, in particular ball control, combination play and shooting. The Orange-and-Blacks’ standard pre-match training session lasted almost an hour in total.
