On Wednesday, December 10, ahead of the away European match against Maltese side Hamrun Spartans, Shakhtar footballers tested the pitch at the National Stadium, Ta’ Qali, which will host tomorrow’s game.
In accordance with UEFA regulations, the opening 15 minutes of the Orange-and-Blacks’ training session were open to the media, who observed the warm-up of Arda Turan’s team and the traditional squares. After that, the session continued away from the cameras: the team worked on ball control and passing, had game-based exercises, and practised shots on goal. Overall, they trained about 1 hour.
