Shakhtar Stalevi finished the final stage of the first Ukrainian Amputee Football Championship with bronze medals

On December 13–14, the final round of the Ukrainian Amputee Football Championship took place at the V. Bannikov Stadium in Kyiv.

Following the earlier stages, Shakhtar Stalevi ended the first part of the competition in fourth spot and continued competing in the Super League, where the six best teams battled for places in the EAFF European League and Champions League.

On the first day of the final round, the Orange-and-Blacks suffered a narrow defeat to Khrestonostsi (0-1), but defeated Nezlamni the next day (1-0).

Khrestonostsi Lutsk 1-0 (1-0) Shakhtar Stalevi Donetsk

The Miners started the game actively, with the first dangerous chance created by Nedzelskyi, who shot after Herasmchuk’s lay-off, but the ball went past the goal. In the next action, the Pitmen could have opened the scoring following a counterattack, but Volynets shot straight at the goalkeeper. Later, Khrestonostsi gained possession, started threatening Molochko’s goal and took the lead after a one-touch finish from Moskal. Near the end of the half, the Orange-and-Blacks had a chance to equalise: Nedzelskyi found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but he narrowed the angle in time and neutralised the threat. In the second half, there was intense midfield battle, with both sides exchanging potentially dangerous set piece attempts, but the score remained unchanged.

Goal: 1-0 Moskal (13′)

Shakhtar Stalevi: Molochko (Semeniuk, 21′), Herasymchuk (c), Mykhasiuk, Nedzelskyi, Volynets, Romaniuk (Klymchuk, 9′), Artiukh

Shakhtar Stalevi Donetsk 1-0 (0-0) Nezlamni Kharkiv

The opening minutes were marked by positional play, with neither team creating clear chances near the goals. The first opportunities came from the Orange-and-Blacks: Romaniuk’s attempt was saved by the goalkeeper, and two minutes later Nedzelskyi found himself in a shooting position, but the ball sliced from his foot. Shakhtar continued to control the game, combining near the opponents’ goal, but were unable to score before half-time. The second half began with a quick goal from the Pitmen. Romaniuk broke through from the central zone, took advantage of the space and struck firmly to put the ball in the net. The Kharkiv side tried to respond with their own chances, but Semeniuk repeatedly denied them, keeping his goal intact.

Goal: 1-0 Romaniuk (24′)

Shakhtar Stalevi: Semeniuk, Klymchuk (Romaniuk, 21′), Mykhasiuk, Artiukh, Nedzelskyi, Volynets, Herasymchuk (c)
