Summing up the results of the final voting of the club’s social media users
Goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk has been named Shakhtar Player of the Year 2025. 5,982 fans (58.6%) voted for him in accordance with the results of the decisive poll. In the final, the goalkeeper finished ahead of two other contenders – Pedrinho (2,584) and Oleh Ocheretko (1,632). Generally, 10,198 respondents participated in the final poll on the club’s official social media pages.
In 2025, Dmytro Riznyk made 38 appearances in competitive matches for the Miners and consistently demonstrated his signature reliability and consistency, keeping 23 clean sheets. The goalkeeper helped the team win the Ukrainian Cup with his save in the penalty shootout in the final. It is worth noting that Riznyk has been named Shakhtar Player of the Year for the second consecutive year.
