Shakhtar women’s team played the test matches against DYuSSh Podil and Obolon
Shakhtar women’s team played two friendly meetings on Wednesday, February 12, against DYuSSh Podil and Obolon. The coaching staff places great emphasis on the physical fitness of the footballers and the balanced distribution of workloads, so a different line-up was used for each match. Due to the weather conditions, the games were played in two halves of 35 minutes each.
Shakhtar Donetsk 4-0 (2-0) DYuSSh Podil Kyiv
In the game against DYuSSh Podil, the Miners seized the initiative from the opening minutes and quickly opened the scoring when Vykaliuk converted a penalty. At the end of the first half, Roman Zaiev's side doubled their lead through an accurate shot from Chendei. In the second half of the match, the Orange-and-Blacks did not slow down and made the score crushing after goals from Liakhovych and Shevtsova.

The match against Obolon Kyiv started at high speed, but without any dangerous chances. In the 41st minute, Veherych opened the scoring with a finish, but five minutes later, Shchur equalised. Soon, Zavidova put the Miners ahead, however Vasyliuk equalized again in the last minutes.
