The Sir Bobby Charlton Foundation and Shakhtar Social support children in Ukraine
The Sir Bobby Charlton Foundation and Shakhtar Social donated 13 foosball tables to Zaporizhzhia, Lozova (Kharkiv Oblast) and Shakhtarske (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast). These cities are the first locations for the joint project between the Ukrainian and English foundations, which aims to organise football training for children.
Roman Kuznetsov, resident of Lozova (Kharkiv Oblast):
– We are very impressed and grateful for the donated foosball tables. Now, when we have to go down to bomb shelters, we have the opportunity to distract ourselves and engage in something that brings joy.
Foosball tables have been installed in the shelters of educational and sports institutions, allowing children to have fun and find comfort during air raid alerts.
We are grateful to our English partners for supporting Ukrainian children!
