Shakhtar youth team played friendly matches against Vejle U19 and Honved U19 within the preparation for the second part of the season

The team continue to actively prepare for the second part of the season and the match against Hoffenheim U19 in the UEFA Youth League. This week the Miners worked on the intensity of ball work and improving the quality of interaction in the final phase of the attack in the mode of two-time training sessions.

During the winter training camp in Turkey, each weekly cycle ends with test matches. This time Oleksii Bielik’s team met with Danish Vejle U19 and Hungarian Honved U19 with involvement of different squads. The fate of the match against Vejle U19 was decided in the first half, when the opponent scored in the 30th minute, and the Orange-and-Blacks lost 0-2 in the game against Honved U19.

Next week, the Miners will begin focused preparation for the game against Hoffenheim U19 in the UEFA Youth League, and they will also complete the programme of friendlies at the winter training camp with matches against Slovakia U19 (February 5) and SC Bruhl (February 7).
