Shakhtar women’s team met with Polissia Zhytomyr in the Winter Cup quarter-final match
Shakhtar women's team have already held one test match, defeating Ateks Kyiv (9-1). Coach of the Miners Roman Zaiev used a predictable wide line-up rotation in the second game of the matchday: Ustinova took place between the sticks, Mostova and Sikorska appeared as fullbacks, Zaborovets and Kravchuk appeared at centre-back, Myronenko, Veherych and Starukhina acted in midfield, Holovach and Vykaliuk played as wingers, with Chaika starting as centre forward.

Difficulties in finishing

The referee showed the defender a straight red card and awarded a penalty, which Tarakanova successfully converted.
