The Bolivian defender signed a 5-year agreement
19-year-old centre-back Diego Arroyo moved to Shakhtar from Bolivian side Bolivar. The Donetsk club’s contract with the player lasts until December 31, 2029.
Diego Arroyo is a graduated of the Tahuichi Aguilera Academy. In July 2023, he moved to the most awarded club in Bolivia, Bolivar La Paz. In the 2023/24 season, he played on loan in Bahia U20 (Brazil). He made his debut for the main team of Bolivar on September 26, 2024. Champion of Bolivia (2024).
Since November 2024, he has been playing for the Bolivia U20.
