Zaborovets received the Women’s Player of the Year prize

Lidiia Zaborovets, who was recognised as Women’s Player of the Year 2024 in Shakhtar based on the results of the opinion poll on the official Instagram and Facebook pages, received her prize. The symbolic award in the form of a bronze ball was presented to her by head coach Roman Zaiev before the morning training session. The head coach and the team congratulated Lidiia on her achievement and wished her professional success at Shakhtar.

The fans chose Lidiia Zaborovets as the best female player in Shakhtar according to the results of the year for the second time in a row. The player got ahead of Nataliia Chendei and Liubov Mokhnach based on the results of voting. During 2024, the midfielder made 17 appearances in competitive matches for Shakhtar and was regularly called up to the Ukraine U19 women’s national team.
