Shakhtar in Turkey: preparation for the match against Brest

The Miners continue to rediscover their form at the winter training camp
After two victorious friendly matches that took place on Wednesday, the coaching staff gave Shakhtar players one day off for rest and recovery, and already today, January 17, they got back to work. Marino Pusic’s team have started purposeful preparation for the upcoming UEFA Champions League match.
Early in the morning, the Miners visited the gym, where they performed a set of exercises for all muscle groups, and only after that they switched to training on the pitch. First, they had a warm-up with interesting and unusual relays, which improved the mood of the players, and then they worked on possession and tactical aspects.

The Orange-and-Blacks will spend the next few days in the training mode as well, preparing for the first competitive match of 2025.
As a reminded, on January 22, Shakhtar will host French Brest in the Champions League league phase MD 7 game. The clash will take place at the Arena AufSchalke (Veltins-Arena) in Gelsenkirchen and kick off at 19:45 Kyiv time.
