Shakhtar U19: another win at the training camp in Turkey

On Saturday, January 18, the Orange-and-Blacks held the second friendly match at the training camp in Turkey. The coaching staff of the Miners decided not to use substitutions given the high intensity of the game against Gangwon U19 and to minimise injuries. The fate of the match was decided in the 30th minute, when centre-forward of the Orange-and-Blacks Oleksandr Lomaha score the only goal.

The meeting with Gangwon U19 has closed the first cycle of the training camp, focused on the improvement of physical conditions of players. The Pitmen have a recovery day ahead, and after that everyone will work on intensity. More attention will be paid to working with the ball, not excluding the aerobic and strength approach.

At the end of next week, the Miners will play two test matches – against Kisvarda II (Hungary) and RB Leipzig U19 (Germany).
