Shakhtar's training camp: the first training session of the new year

The Miners started preparing for the second part of the season
Shakhtar's winter training camp began in Turkey on January 4. The day before, the players and coaches of the team arrived in Belek, and today they held the first training session in 2025.
Before the start of the session, the teammates congratulated Brazilian winger of the Orange-and-Blacks Kevin on his birthday and gave a warm welcome to Venezuelan forward Kelsy, who returned to the club after almost a year-long loan spell. Also, head coach Marino Pusic addressed the players and outlined the work plan for the upcoming weeks.
The Pitmen opened the first training session with activation in the gym, after which a warm-up and fitness testing of the players took place on the pitch. We note that the coaching staff involved several players of the youth team of the Miners in the training camp of the first team.
As a reminder, Shakhtar are purposefully preparing in Turkey for the UEFA Champions League league phase matches: against Brest (January 22) and Borussia Dortmund (January 29).
