Arda Turan’s men are finalising their preparations for the second leg of the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round
On July 16, ahead of the away clash with Finnish side Ilves, Shakhtar players trained on the artificial pitch of Tammelan Stadion, which will host tomorrow’s encounter.
According to UEFA regulations, the first 15 minutes of the Orange-and-Blacks’ session were open to the media, who had the opportunity to observe the team’s warm-up. After that, the work continued behind closed doors: the Miners focused on holding on to the ball, passing and finishing. In total, the session lasted about an hour. It is worth noting that Shakhtar’s training session was attended by children and their parents from the Ukrainian Home in Tampere.
As a reminder, the return leg of the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round between Ilves and Shakhtar will take place at the Tammelan Stadion in Tampere (Finland) on July 17. The game kicks off at 19:00 Kyiv time. Tickets for away section for Shakhtar fans are on sale.
