The club has finalised the venue for its 2025/26 European campaign

Shakhtar will play their home European games of the 2025/26 season in Kraków (Poland) at the Stadion Miejski im. Henryka Reymana. The club reached the corresponding agreement with Wisła Kraków.

The dates and ticket sale procedure for the upcoming home fixtures of the Miners will be announced shortly.

Serhii Palkin, FC Shakhtar CEO:

– We are glad to return to Poland, where we’ve had a positive experience hosting UEFA Champions League and Europa League matches. The choice of Kraków was no coincidence – for us, it is a convenient location logistically, and most importantly, it’s a city that loves football, so we hope for a warm welcome from the local fans. We also understand that many Ukrainians, including refugees, currently live in Poland, and we count on their strong support and energy. We are grateful to the management of Wisła and the city of Kraków for accommodating us and we are confident that this cooperation will be a positive experience for all parties involved. We are looking forward to the upcoming European matches in Kraków!

Stadion Miejski im. Henryka Reymana in Kraków was opened in 1953. A major reconstruction took place between 2004 and 2011 ahead of UEFA Euro 2012, although the stadium was not included in Poland’s final list of host venues. The latest renovation was carried out in 2022–2023. The arena has a capacity of 33,326 and meets UEFA Category 4 standards. The pitch dimensions are 105 by 72 metres. The stadium is located at 20 Władysława Reymonta St, Kraków.

Jarosław Królewski, Wisła Kraków president:

– Partnership with Shakhtar Donetsk is a sign of mutual trust. We believe that our joint efforts – both in sport and in community work – will benefit not only our clubs but also the fans and the broader football environment of the region. It is also a symbolic act of unity and solidarity in challenging times. We are pleased that Kraków will once again host European competitions – this is an important and inspiring event for our city.

Many thanks to Kraków for the warm welcome and see you soon in the stands!
