The Miners are ready for the upcoming clash with the Turkish giants
On July 23, Shakhtar’s players trained on the pitch at the Beşiktaş Stadium in Istanbul one day before the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round match against Turkish side Beşiktaş.
The first 15 minutes of the session of Arda Turan’s team were open to the media according to the UEFA regulations: journalists had the opportunity to watch the warm-up and some ball drills from the Orange-and-Blacks. The rest of the session continued behind closed doors, with the Pitmen working on ball possession, attacking play and finishing. This also gave the players a chance to test out the hybrid pitch of the stadium where tomorrow’s clash will take place.
We remind that the first leg of the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round between Beşiktaş and Shakhtar at the Beşiktaş Stadium in Istanbul is on July 24 at 21:00 local and Kyiv time. Tickets for away section for Shakhtar fans are on sale.
