Shakhtar youth team are preparing for the new season
Shakhtar U19 continue their intensive preparations for the new season with twice-daily training sessions in Shchaslyve. This week, the Miners wrapped up a training cycle with two friendlies – against Kudrivka and Kolos-2. The coaching staff used a wide line-up rotation during the matches to ensure all players got playing time.
Shakhtar Donetsk U19 1-3 Kudrivka Chernihiv
As part of their preparations for the new season, the Miners played a friendly against Kudrivka, who will compete in the Premier League next season. The visitors opened the scoring early on, converting a penalty. However, the Orange-and-Blacks equalised in the first half through an accurate shot from Lomaha. In the second half, Kudrivka took control of the game and scored two more goals to seal the win.
Shakhtar Donetsk U19 2-3 Kolos-2 Kovalivka
This encounter began with both sides exchanging goals: Kolos-2 took the lead, but Shakhtar responded with a goal from Lomaha. The Kovalivka side gradually took control of the game and capitalised on their chance, scoring a second past Puzankov. Shakhtar equalized again through a converted penalty by Lomaha, but late in the match Kolos found the net once more to set the final score – 2-3.
The team will now have a day of rest before resuming their intensive training. At the end of the week, Shakhtar U19 will face Obolon U19 and Polissia-2 in their next friendlies.
