The Miners held their first training week of the pre-season
Shakhtar’s summer training camp in Brdo, Slovenia is proceeding as planned. Today, June 26, the Orange-and-Blacks had another training day, consisting of two sessions.
In the morning, the team gathered on the pitch, where they conducted a half-hour outdoor fitness session. It was followed by a warm-up, ball possession exercises, and one-on-one play. Everyone did a lot of running individually.
The second training session started with the usual warm-up and squares, after which Arda Turan and the coaching staff worked hard on tactics with the players. To conclude the evening session, a mini-tournament for three teams was arranged.

As a reminder, Shakhtar are preparing in Slovenia for their debut pre-season friendlies against Gorica and Slovácko and the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round matches against Ilves. The home European competition game will take place on July 10, tickets are on sale now.
