Shakhtar Social, with the support of the UEFA Foundation for Children, will provide sports equipment to football schools and groups throughout Ukraine
Shakhtar Social, in collaboration with the UEFA Foundation for Children, implements a project to support children's football in Ukraine. The initiative plans to provide sports equipment to 30 football schools and groups operating within general education institutions.
The sets include balls, bibs, agility ladders, cones, ball nets and other equipment necessary for training. Thanks to this, children will be able to develop their physical abilities, improve coordination and engage in their favourite activity – playing football.
Applications for sports equipment were accepted for a month and a half. In total, more than 200 requests were received from different parts of Ukraine. Based on the selection results, sports equipment will be donated to 30 football schools and groups. Preference was given to institutions located in de-occupied territories, in small settlements, as well as those where training is provided for free and where children of internally displaced persons participate.
