Arda Turan’s team are preparing for the first friendly games and UEFA Europa League matches
Shakhtar players continue working at their training camp in Brdo. On Friday, June 27, the Miners held three training sessions again.
The first session began, as on Wednesday, at around seven in the morning and also consisted of synchronisation exercises, warm-up and ball work using five stations with different tasks that the coaching staff had prepared for the players. Everything had to be done with high intensity.
A little later, the team held a session in the gym, where the players got workloads for all muscle groups, as is usually the case during pre-season training. And at the evening session, the Orange-and-Blacks focused on tactical practice and game-related exercises. At the end, the players, led by Arda Turan and his assistants, organised a mini-tournament.

As a reminder, Shakhtar are preparing in Slovenia for their debut pre-season friendlies against Gorica and Slovácko and the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round matches against Ilves. The home European competition game will take place on July 10, tickets are on sale now.
