The Miners continue their physical preparation in Slovenia
Shakhtar’s summer training camp in Brdo is ongoing. After a well-deserved Sunday off, the team led by Arda Turan returned to training today, June 30.
The morning session began with fitness on the pitch, during which the players performed activation exercises and worked on different muscle groups. They then moved on to rondo drills with the ball, had the traditional running work and practised some tactical aspects.
The second training session took place in the late afternoon and included a warm-up, squares focused on ball control and a series of varied game-based and tactical exercises provided by the coaching staff of the Orange-and-Blacks. The session lasted nearly an hour and a half.

As a reminder, Shakhtar are preparing in Slovenia for their debut pre-season friendlies against Gorica and Slovácko set for later this week, as well as the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round matches against Ilves. The home European fixture will take place on July 10, tickets are on sale.
