Shakhtar Social and YASNO organized a special day for children and parents in Lviv: a football training session with bubble show, ice cream and branded souvenirs

The family day is a traditional event held as part of the Come On, Let's Play! project. What makes the training sessions special is that children have the opportunity to play football alongside their parents, who in turn feel the emotions their children experience during every session.

This year, the partners created new memories for everyone and marked the beginning of summer in a special way. Participants enjoyed delicious ice cream, received branded souvenirs from Shakhtar and YASNO, and the bubble show at the end of the training was a true highlight of the family celebration.

Yuliia, mother of a Come On, Let's Play! participant in Lviv:

– The emotions and atmosphere were simply off the scale! During the event, we experienced just how challenging football can be for our children. Watching the game is one thing, but actually taking part is something else entirely. We are truly grateful for this wonderful event!

The Come On, Let's Play! locations run in partnership between Shakhtar Social and YASNO have been operating in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk since 2023. The partners have implemented many vibrant and emotionally engaging activities for children and their families over the past two years.

Iryna, mother of a Come On, Let's Play! participant in Lviv:

– It was an amazing experience, we’re sincerely thankful for the organisation of this event! We had the chance to play football with our children and share in this celebration during the training session. It really gave us a sense of how demanding it is to be a footballer.

Recently, the partners agreed to continue their collaboration. It means that support for grassroots children's football in Ukraine will continue and all efforts will be focused on providing even more positive moments and sporting opportunities for boys and girls.

The Come On, Let's Play! currently covers 22 Ukrainian localities, where football pitches operate. More than 1,000 children from 7 to 12 years old participate in the training sessions.
