The Shakhtar Social charitable organization, with support from the UEFA Foundation for Children, implements a project to support children's football in Ukraine
In 2025, as part of this initiative, Shakhtar Social will provide football equipment to 30 football schools and sports groups across the country. Particular attention will be paid to the liberated regions, territories most affected by the full-scale war, as well as sports groups where children from among the displaced persons are involved.
The goal of the project is to provide children with the opportunity to continue playing football, integrate and socialize through sports.
The initiative is a continuation of supporting Ukrainian children's football. In 2023–2024, 51 football schools and groups in Ukraine have already received sports equipment thanks to similar projects supported by FC Shakhtar, UEFA Foundation for Children and ECA.
The link to the application and terms of receiving the equipment will be published in April 2025.
