– Dmytro, Shakhtar have won their 15th Ukrainian Cup trophy. A fierce game, unbelievable emotions. What are you feeling right now?
– Right now, I feel no emotions, but I’m very happy that we won this final. We really needed this Cup this season. All the guys did a great job. I’ve said it many times already: after the path we went through to get this trophy – three matches of 120 minutes – it was extremely hard work. Everyone handled it and I thank them all. Especially our better halves, our children, who supported us before the match. This victory is for them.
– What does this achievement mean to you personally and to the team?
– For the team, it’s truly a trophy. A club like Shakhtar must win. And today, you could say, luck was on our side.
– You celebrated the victory with the fans in a very heartfelt way. Tell us a bit more about that.
– Of course, we wanted to bring joy to our fans, give them emotions after such a tough season and, so to speak, breathe life into this trophy.
– What would you like to say to Ukrainians who were supporting Shakhtar?
