Shakhtar Academy teams have completed their performances in the group stage of the DUFLU Elite League and will continue their fight for advancing to the final part of the competition in play-off matches
The final round of the Ukrainian Youth Football Elite League group stage took place on May 17. The best 4 teams from 4 groups in the age categories from U14 to U17 will continue to compete in the play-offs according to the regulations.
All Shakhtar Academy teams successfully finished the group stage and will play in the play-offs to qualify for the final part of the competition. To do this, the Miners need to win the 1/8 and 1/4 play-offs, the winner of which will be decided in two-match showdowns.
Shakhtar U14
Oleksandr Voitovych’s team finished the DUFLU group stage in the 1st spot in the standings, having gained 51 points (17 wins and only 1 loss) and having a 10-point lead over their nearest pursuer. The Miners demonstrated high performance (72 goals scored) and reliable defence (only 3 conceded). Marko Ratskyi was the top goalscorer (15 goals scored in 17 matches).

Shakhtar U15
Oleksandr Ovchynnikov’s team gained 48 points in 18 matches of the DUFLU group stage, which allowed them to take 1st place. According to the results of this round, the Pitmen remained undefeated (15 wins and 3 draws) and were the most prolific, scoring 72 goals against their opponents. The top goalscorer, Daniil Dalekyi, has 10 goals in 12 matches.

The final stage of the DUFLU Elite League will be held in Mukachevo. According to the regulations, the best 4 teams from each age group passing 2 stages of play-off matches will play at this phase. The teams will form semi-final pairs, the winners of which will play against each other for 1st and 2nd places, and the others will compete for bronze medals.
