Despite the drop in our tournament position in the title race, we won’t give up and will fight until the end
Yehor Dankovskyi, defender:
– The result of the game with Dynamo U19 certainly affected the team’s morale, but we must draw the right conclusions to show quality and dynamic football in the next matches. We understand that Chornomorets U19 are at the bottom of the table, but there can be no underestimation of the opponents. As always, we are focused only on winning. Despite the drop in our tournament position in the title race, we won’t give up and will fight until the end.
Opponents
Chornomorets U19 made coaching changes during the second half of the championship: Andrii Ushchapovskyi replaced Anatolii Didenko, who joined the senior team’s staff. The Odesa side managed to end a 14-match losing streak under their new manager and currently sit in the lower part of the table with 15 points (4 wins, 3 draws, 19 losses, goal difference: 24-55). The recent results of Chornomorets U19 have been unstable: a win over Obolon U19 (2-1), a loss to Veres U19 (0-2) and a draw with Rukh U19 (1-1).
It is interesting that the Odesa-based outfit last won at home in mid-September 2024.

The teams met 18 times in the U19 Championship: the Orange-and-Blacks proved stronger 15 times, with 2 draws 1 victory of Chornomorets (goal difference: 48-15).
