Shakhtar supporters had a unique opportunity to get the player’s autograph and take photos with the Ukrainian Cup
On May 26, defender of the Miners Yukhym Konoplia took part in an autograph session at the brand zone of the technical partner of FC Shakhtar PUMA in the capital-based Ocean Plaza Mall. The event was attended by over 150 fans, who had the chance to take photos with the player and the Ukrainian Cup, as well as receive a card featuring Yukhym and his personal signature.

– I felt only positive emotions from the fans’ smiles. Even if there had been two or three thousand people wanting an autograph, I’m sure no one would have been left without one. Such initiatives are very important and, above all, should be held for our fans. I saw the way children’s eyes lit up as they came up, even if they were nervous. These are the moments that inspire you to keep working.
Vladyslav Samoilenko, Shakhtar fan:
– My parents are from Donetsk, and I’ve supported Shakhtar since childhood. My family often talked about the club when I was three or four. During the event, I had the chance to talk to Yukhym Konoplia, ask him a few questions and get his autograph. I even found out who his favourite player is.
During the live conversation, fans asked Yukhym about how the season felt for him personally, how he assessed the team’s results, as well as about his goals for the future and his personal life. In addition, a new 2025/26 season jersey was given away among the participants, with Dmytro Salamakha emerging as the winner.

– I was really surprised when I found out I’d won in the giveaway, I didn’t believe it at first! But it turned out to be true, so the emotions were incredible. I’m very happy I had the chance to get Yukhym’s autograph and meet him in person. I really like the new kit, especially the fresh print and black sleeves.
