Shakhtar defender Pedro Henrique shared his impressions of the UPL match against Zorya
– If we analyse today’s game between Shakhtar and Zorya, what did the team lack to win three points?
– It was a really tough game. It is, of course, not easy to play almost the entire match with one man down. But I think, considering all the circumstances, we played well and demonstrated a decent level today.
– Please tell us in more detail, how difficult was it to play with ten men from the 17th minute and how did you rebuild after Ghram was sent off?
– It is always important to be able to adapt during the match, especially in difficult moments like when an important player is sent off. I think that we really managed to maintain the proper concentration and focus: unfortunately, without the three points, but with a decent performance from us.

– Yes, absolutely. You can say that it is a tough game against a quality opponent, and when you have ten men in such circumstances against a strong opponent, of course it has an impact on the game. But it is important to keep your head held high and move forward to the remaining matches.
– How do you feel after this match?
– I would not say there are any bad emotions, but there is a feeling that we could have achieved more today and deserved more. It is unfortunate, but not really that sad.
– The Ukrainian Cup final between Shakhtar and Dynamo will take place soon. What are your expectations and how will the team prepare for this match?
– Of course, full concentration, maximum commitment, because we are talking about the final of the Ukrainian Cup. Moreover, this is a classic showdown with Dynamo in the Cup, a battle for the trophy – of course, this is a very important game. I can assure you, each of us will prepare with all our might, because we want to make the fans happy with a victory in the Ukrainian Cup.
