Shakhtar women’s team are preparing for the clash with Polissia
On Wednesday, November 12, Shakhtar women’s team held a training session at the indoor facility in Shchaslyve.
The session began with a quick activation warm-up, after which the girls moved on to ball work. The coaching staff focused on game aspects, dedicating the main part to practising tactical elements. It concluded with a small-sided game within a limited part of the pitch.
Diana Kravchuk, defender:
– The training session, as usual, began with a warm-up, followed by game-related drills, and we finished with a shooting series. We prepare differently for all opponents and, of course, hope for a positive result.
– The match against Polissia is next. What makes this team special and how do they achieve results?
– They have a strong forward, Yuliia Stets, who is among the league’s top scorers, so we’ll need to pay special attention to her. Polissia are a fast team with good wide play and a solid defensive line. We are preparing for the game responsibly, as we need to earn points. We’ll do our best to give everything and achieve the desired result.
