Shakhtar defenders Yeva Balatska and Nina Pipchenko are heading to Ukraine WU19 and WU17
Two players from Shakhtar women’s team Yeva Balatska and Nina Pipchenko have been called up to Ukraine’s WU19 and WU17, where they will take part in the first-round matches of Euro 2026 qualifiers.
Ukraine WU19
Ukraine U19 women’s team head coach Oleh Bortnik has announced the squad for the first-round matches of the European Championship qualifiers. A total of 22 players were called up, including Shakhtar defender Yeva Balatska. Following the draw, the team were placed in Group 3 of League B, where they will face Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and San Marino.
It is worth noting that the six League B group winners, along with the best-placed runners-up, will advance to the second round in League A.

Head coach of Ukraine WU17 Liudmyla Lemeshko has announced the squad for the first-round matches of the Euro 2026 qualifiers, including Shakhtar’s representative Nina Pipchenko. Following the draw, Ukraine WU17 will compete in Group 6 of League A against Austria, Switzerland and Romania.
