Shakhtar U19 midfielder Vladyslav Tiutiunov shared his impressions of the victory over Kryvbas (6-1)
– Congratulations on the win! Shakhtar U19 proved stronger than Kryvbas U19. Tell us, how did this match feel for the team?
– We prepared for the opponents, so we knew their strengths and weaknesses and worked from that. Right from the start, we aimed to score an early goal, and we succeeded. We scored a second goal soon after, but then, due to a mistake, we conceded. At halftime, the coaches reminded us that we had to win and give the opponents no chances. We listened, came out motivated and closed the game by scoring four more goals.
– You managed to score a brace. Tell us, what were these goals like and who do you dedicate them to?
– I don’t consider these goals to be anything special; I was just lucky to be in the right place at the right time. I want to dedicate them to my brother, who always watches the matches and supports me.
– Shakhtar U19 are currently showing impressive results and approach the mid-point of the season as leaders in the league table. How would you assess the team’s performance and high scoring form?
– Scoring regularly has a big impact on our confidence. When we manage to score a lot, the next opponents may already feel the pressure psychologically even before the game. We have fairly good results, but two defeats show that we are not perfect. Two more matches lie ahead and we will, of course, prepare solely to win, so we can go on break in a good mood. After that, during the training camp, we need to work even harder than before to avoid mistakes and reach our ultimate goal.
