Shakhtar women’s team have completed preparations for the match against Kolos
On Saturday, November 8, Shakhtar’s women’s team held a training session ahead of their meeting with Kolos Kovalivka.
The session began with a light warm-up aimed at preparing the muscles for further work. The footballers then moved on to ball work, refining tactical elements and movement. To finish, the coaching staff put the squad through an intensive shooting series.
Oksana Henyk, defender:
– We are approaching the match against Kolos in a fighting spirit and fully prepared, knowing they are a strong character team. This week we focused more on technical and tactical aspects, refining our actions both in defence and in attack.
– Matches against Kolos have never been easy for Shakhtar. What makes this team special?
– All opponents are important for us. Kolos make good use of their strengths, particularly their physical qualities, which form the basis of their play. I can say that we are not afraid of any opponent and approach every match with great responsibility.
– You are a defender, but in the last three matches you scored two goals, one of which was the winner. How does that affect your confidence?
– Since joining Shakhtar, scoring goals and helping the team as much as possible has been my dream. I’m very grateful to the team for helping me convert my chances in the matches against Kryvbas and Pantery. It’s truly satisfying, and I’m glad I managed to score. Of course, it definitely boosts my confidence.
