Regional competitions of the Come On, Let’s Play! project took place in Burshtyn
A football tournament as part of the Come On, Let’s Play! project was held in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Six teams from the region participated in the competition (Burshtyn, Demianiv, Bovshiv, Zadnistrianske and Mykulychyn, which was represented by two squads). Following the tournament format, the teams were divided into two groups of three. The top two from each group after the group stage advanced to the semi-finals, while the teams finishing last competed for 5th–6th spots.
In the semi-finals, the two teams from Mykulychyn faced each other, as well as the teams from Burshtyn and Bovshiv. The final was contested between representatives from Burshtyn and Mykulychyn, with the hosts from Burshtyn claiming victory and becoming the tournament champions.
Rostyslav Vytrykhovskyi, Burshtyn TPP Local Authorities Liaison Manager:
– The Come On, Let’s Play! project creates wonderful opportunities for everyone to play their favourite game, train, make new friends and develop team spirit, respect and the will to win. The most important thing about this tournament is that it’s not just about goals and results, but also about fair play, mutual respect and enjoying every moment on the pitch.
The tournament concluded with an awards ceremony: all teams received medals and the best players were recognised with individual prizes.

All the teams were evenly matched, which made the competition extremely exciting. The children gave their all and the tournament was held at a very high level.
