Ukraine

In October, the country’s senior team will continue their participation in the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. The Blue-and-Yellows will play away against Iceland and host Azerbaijan. Head coach Serhii Rebrov has called up 25 players to the national team camp, with Shakhtar having the largest representation – 6 footballers: goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk, defenders Mykola Matviienko, Valerii Bondar, Yukhym Konoplia, midfielders Artem Bondarenko and Oleh Ocheretko. Dmytro Kryskiv is on the reserve list.

Ukraine U21

Ukraine U21 will play 2 matches in the Euro 2027 qualifying tournament – at home against Hungary U21 (October 10, 19:00) and away against Croatia U21 (October 14, 19:00). Head coach of the Blue-and-Yellows Unai Melgosa has called up 24 players, including Shakhtar representatives – midfielders Anton Hlushchenko and Viktor Tsukanov.

Georgia, Tunisia, Bolivia

Shakhtar defender Irakli Azarov has been called up to Georgia, which will play two away matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers – against Spain (October 11) and Türkiye (October 14).

Centre-back of the Miners Alaa Ghram has joined Tunisia for their African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, facing São Tomé and Príncipe (October 10) and Namibia (October 13).

Defender of the Orange-and-Blacks Diego Arroyo is preparing with Bolivia for a friendly against Jordan (October 10). Immediately after this match, the player will return to Ukraine and join the club’s squad in Lviv on October 11.
