Over 1,500 children in two communities now have access to continuous and innovative education
Shakhtar Social has provided Classroom-in-a-Box™️ learning kits, supplied by the British charity Global Teacher, to educational institutions in Pivdenne (Odesa Oblast) and Mykolaivka (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast).
Classroom-in-a-Box are modern sets powered by solar energy, designed specifically for teaching in conditions with limited or no access to electricity and the internet. Pupils can continue their education even in remote areas, temporary shelters or evacuation centres.
Each kit includes a solar generator, charging station, multimedia projector and speakers – everything necessary to conduct full lessons without connection to external power sources.

– Receiving these learning kits is extremely important for our school, as during air raid alerts or power outages pupils can continue their studies without interruption or educational losses. This ensures the stability of the learning process even in challenging circumstances, which is critically important today. All teachers have access to the learning systems, which allows the integration of innovative solutions across different subjects and ensures equal opportunities for every class.
The initiative is aimed at supporting Ukrainian schools and providing children with uninterrupted access to education.
