UAH 5 million in donations raised for Ukrainian defenders

Shakhtar and the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade joined forces to raise funds for armoured vehicles
In March, FC Shakhtar, together with the 3rd SABr of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, launched the Ticket to Donbas Arena campaign as part of the Evacuating fundraiser. The club offered fans various rewards for different donation levels: a transfer of UAH 100 or more granted a unique Ticket to Donbas Arena in the form of a monobank card skin; donations of UAH 20,000 or more provided the opportunity to attend a Shakhtar’s training session, take photos with the players and get their autographs; and those who donated UAH 50,000 or more received an invitation to a photo session with the team and the coaching staff. In addition, 11 jerseys of Shakhtar players who took part in the team’s last match at the Donbas Arena will be given away among all contributors along with a new Shakhtar jersey personally signed by Arda Turan.
As of today, the fundraiser has been successfully completed, with a total of UAH 5,138,061.52 raised! All the funds, as planned, will be directed towards the purchase of special armoured vehicles for the evacuation of wounded soldiers.

It should be noted that top donors will be able to attend Shakhtar’s training session and take photos with the players and coaches in the near future once the team return to Kyiv.
