Shakhtar U19 sit top of the table with 52 points after 20 rounds (17 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses). The Miners made a strong start to the second half of the season, showing high scoring form: they beat Veres U19 (4-2), Oleksandriia U19 (5-0) and Metalist 1925 U19 (2-0), but shared the points with Zorya U19 (3-3) ahead of the international break.

During the international break, Yehor Kostiuk, Yehor Onishchuk, Yaroslav Mylokost, Nikita Kaliuzhnyi, Oleksandr Balakai, Artem Zubrii, Rostyslav Bahlai and Vladyslav Tiutiunov were with Ukraine’s youth national teams. On September 27, Rukh U19 hosted Shakhtar U19 in Vynnyky. The sides started cautiously, with most of the play in midfield. In the 10th minute, Kanteh created a chance, and four minutes later, he assisted Smetana, who opened the scoring. Towards the end of the first half, the Miners added two more – a precise finish from Smetana and a converted penalty by Bundash. The second half saw many challenges and fouls, and in one instance the referee awarded a penalty to the hosts, which Zalypka converted. The Lviv side reduced the deficit after Serb’s goal, but Shakhtar U19 secured a 3-2 victory in the end.
