Shakhtar U19 hosted Lviv U19 in the first match of the new season in Shchaslyve
Shakhtar U19 head coach Maksym Malyshev named the following starting line-up for the opening game of the new season: Chympoiesh was in goal, Koman, Shukalovych, Onishchuk and Nyzhnyk played in defence, Trokhym, Kots and Voloshko formed the midfield, Safonov and Kuriachyi operated on the wings, with Bida leading the attack.

The hosts made a bright start and created a gilt-edged chance in front of Lykhvar's goal: Safonov played the ball down the flank into the path of Trokhym, who burst into the final third and found Bida in a promising position, but the striker failed to hit the target.
