Midfielder of the Miners Dmytro Kryskiv commented on extending his contract with the club
– Dmytro, you’ve signed a new contract with Shakhtar. How are you feeling right now?
– Only positive emotions. I’m truly very happy because my tenth year at Shakhtar has begun. This club has given me so much: the opportunity to win trophies, to make my debut on the European stage and in the national team. I give everything I can to this club and I’m very happy that we managed to extend the deal. I have always given 100 per cent and more, and I will always do so for my club.
– How long is your new contract for?
– The deal has been signed for 5 years – until the end of 2030.
– What goals have you set for yourself during this period?
– The goals, as always, are the highest. At this club, you can only demand the maximum from yourself, so I will give my all and hope that we win trophies with the team both in Ukrainian competitions and on the European stage. I believe that if everyone demands the maximum from themselves and gives 100 per cent, everything will be fine for us.
– And what is your biggest dream connected to Shakhtar?
– Probably to win a European trophy – that’s the main thing. It hasn’t happened for a very long time, and I would love to repeat Shakhtar’s success from 2009. If we can really do it, it will be a huge achievement.
