I was very impressed by the depth of their questions and how wise and mature they are for their age
Marlon Santos, defender:
– This is truly a wonderful initiative! It’s incredibly warm and pleasant to speak with the children. I was very impressed by the depth of their questions and how wise and mature they are for their age. I sincerely wish them only good, peace, light and all the very best.
The Come On, Let's Play! project location in Burshtyn was opened as one of the very first in 2018 in partnership with DTEK. Since then, many boys and girls have joined the sessions, and currently over 100 children train there regularly.
The war in Ukraine continues, and Burshtyn is one of the enemy’s targets due to the location of the Burshtyn TPP, which has suffered numerous missile strikes and remains under constant threat. Marlon Santos showed his support for the children and wished them clear skies, as well as success in their training sessions and tournaments.
Overall, 27 locations in 27 communities across Ukraine operate as part of Come On, Let’s Play!. Two of these locations provide training for children with disabilities. More than 1,300 boys and girls aged 7 to 12 participate in the project.
The general partner is DTEK.
