On February 13, the Miners will play two test games at the training camp
In the first game, which kicks off at 13:00 Kyiv time on February 13, Shakhtar will face runners-up Dila Gori. The team led by Arda Turan will play the second match on the same day against Georgian Erovnuli Liga newcomers Rustavi (at 16:00).

Dila
FC Dila was founded in 1949 in the city of Gori. The club’s greatest achievements include winning the Georgian Championship in 2015, as well as claiming two Georgian Cups (2012, 2025) and the Georgian Super Cup (2025). In the 2025 season, the team finished second in the Erovnuli Liga (36 matches, 25 wins, 78 points, goal difference 63-35), just two points behind champions Iberia 1999. However, Dila got their revenge by defeating the same opponents in the Georgian Cup final (3-1). In the 2025/26 UEFA Conference League qualifiers, Dila defeated Luxembourgish side Racing (2-1, 1-0), but were eliminated in the second round by Riga (1-2, 3-3).
The team are managed by 50-year-old Italian Diego Longo, who has been in charge since June 2025. The club captain is experienced Congolese centre-back Romaric Etou, for whom the upcoming season will be his ninth in Georgia. Last season’s top scorer was forward Shota Shekiladze (11 goals and 7 assists in 41 matches). The club’s most valuable player according to Transfermarkt is Malian midfielder Boubacar Konté (valued at EUR 550 thousand).

Rustavi
FC Rustavi was founded in 2015 in the city of the same name. The team quickly rose to the top division, but after two seasons in the Erovnuli Liga (2018 and 2019), they were relegated back to the lower leagues. In the 2025 season, Rustavi won the First League (36 matches, 21 wins, 71 points, goal difference 62-30) and secured promotion back to the Erovnuli Liga, where they will compete in 2026.
The team are managed by 51-year-old Georgian coach Giorgi Tsetsadze, who has been in charge since April 2025. Rustavi feature several foreign players, including two Ukrainians – 22-year-old centre-back Dmytro Dobranskyi and 18-year-old forward Mykyta Slavytskyi. Last season’s top scorers were Brazilian forward Jean (14 goals) and Japanese midfielder Yuta Nakano (10 goals and 7 assists).
During the winter break, Rustavi played four friendly matches: draws against Spaeri (2-2) and Shturmi (1-1), and victories over Dinamo Tbilisi (2-1) and Sogdiana (3-1).
