Shakhtar women's team signed Anastasiia Druzhchenko

Anastasiia began playing football at youth level with Barsa. She then represented Vyshneve, Invictus and Kolos, winning the Ukrainian First League title in 2021 with the latter. After that, she played for Dynamo Kyiv and Metalist 1925. Druzhchenko has also been called up to Ukraine youth national teams at various age levels. At senior level, she has made 98 appearances, scoring 33 goals.

– I’m happy to join such a big club as Shakhtar, and I have only positive impressions from becoming part of it. I think my adaptation will be very quick as I know many of my teammates and have even played with some of them before. Right now, I’m trying to understand the head coach’s requirements so I can integrate into the team’s play as effectively as possible. As for my goals, of course I want to help the team reach the European competition zone, but first we need to stay in the top five.
