Shakhtar’s best goal of the past 8 years has been chosen
Mykhailo Mudryk and his fantastic long-ranger in the UEFA Champions League match against Celtic in September 2022 won the 5th season of the Super Goals Battle.
The contest featured 8 of the best goals scored by Shakhtar players which had previously won the annual polls of the Goal Battle project. Mykhailo Mudryk received 2,759 votes in the final poll on Shakhtar’s official Instagram page, finishing ahead of Yaroslav Rakitskyi and his 2023 goal in the Europa League clash with Feyenoord (2,020 points).
It should be noted that the Super Goal Battle was won by Viktor Kovalenko’s precise shot in the match against Dynamo in 2018 for 4 consecutive years.
