Shakhtar midfielder Yehor Nazaryna shared his impressions of the physical tests the team underwent today
– Yehor, tell us which test the day started with and how it finished?
– First of all, I would say that this is a very important day which provides plenty of information for our coaches as well as the medical staff. In the morning, we had tests for explosive and maximum strength, and in the evening there was the beep test, which shows the level of endurance and the body’s ability to cope with increasing load.
– What are your personal impressions and feelings, especially after the running test, given that you were the winner in your group?
– It was not easy. But it is a very important test. We understand that this kind of physical preparation is needed during the training camp, so I’m very pleased.
– Which minutes of this test are the hardest – the final ones or somewhere in the middle of the distance? They say that at the end you get a second wind?
– Of course, the final ones. Towards the end of the distance, the body begins to acidify, so the closing minutes are quite difficult. At the beginning, in the first 12 minutes, you could say it is a warm-up, and then it really becomes tough.
