The Miners continue their preparations for the resumption of the season in Türkiye
On Friday, January 30, Shakhtar footballers held two training sessions at their winter camp in Belek.
The morning at the Orange-and-Blacks’ camp began with greetings for head coach Arda Turan, who celebrates his 39th birthday today, and goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk, who marks his 27th. Players, coaching staff and team personnel warmly congratulated both the coach and the goalkeeper, wishing above all peace, health and new major victories. The training began with activation exercises in the gym, followed by extensive running work on the pitch, as well as drills to improve ball control and game exercises in 1v1 and 2v2 formats.
After lunch and a short rest at the hotel, the team headed to the second session, which started at 17:30 local time. The evening programme included a warm-up, squares, possession and pressing exercises, with the main element being the first full two-sided game across the pitch.
