The Miners continue their preparations for the upcoming season
On July 11, Shakhtar players returned after a day off and resumed training with renewed energy at their pre-season camp in Slovenia. Arda Turan and his coaching staff put the squad through two intensive and demanding training sessions.
The morning session lasted almost two hours on the pitch. The team spent most of the time on running drills, while also completing various exercises without the ball and station-based drills.
As is customary during pre-season, the second session had a game-focused format. The players began with a warm-up and rondos before moving on to tactical drills across the full pitch, working on playing out from the press, and finishing the session with a practice match.
