Shakhtar will face Croatian top-flight side Rudes Zagreb in a friendly. The game will take place in Brdo. It kicks off at 17:00 Kyiv time.

Founded in 1957 in the Zagreb district of the same name, NK Rudes spent most of its history in the lower divisions and only made its top-flight debut in 2017. In the 2025/26 season, the team won the Croatian First League, collecting 65 points from 33 matches (goal difference: 49-29), and returned to the Croatian National League after a two-year absence. Rudes will begin the new campaign on August 1 with a match against Rijeka.
The team have been managed by 54-year-old Alen Peternac since January this year. The squad is made up predominantly of Croatian footballers, with a handful of foreign players. The Zagreb side's top scorer last season was 21-year-old Croatia U21 forward Duje Korac (9 nine goals and 3 assists). He is regarded as the club's brightest prospect, with Transfermarkt valuing him at EUR 600,000.
