Shakhtar Stalevi and the Heart of Azovstal NGO signed a memorandum of cooperation
FC Shakhtar continues to develop social and veterans’ projects aimed at supporting Ukrainian defenders and expanding opportunities for their rehabilitation and integration through sport. Shakhtar Stalevi and the Heart of Azovstal NGO have signed a memorandum of cooperation, which envisages joining efforts to develop the project and strengthen support for veterans and service personnel.
We hope this cooperation will open up new opportunities for the development of amputee football. It is important to support our defenders and create conditions in which they can play, undergo rehabilitation through sport and experience positive emotions

– Heart of Azovstal is a charitable project launched by Rinat Akhmetov in 2023 to support the defenders of Mariupol and their families. Shakhtar Stalevi, meanwhile, are one of the first amputee football teams in Ukraine, where veterans who defended the country train and compete. We hope this cooperation will open up new opportunities for the development of amputee football. It is important to support our defenders and create conditions in which they can play, undergo rehabilitation through sport and experience positive emotions.
