Summing up the results of the traditional monthly poll on the club’s social media
Forward Lassina Traore has been named Shakhtar Player of the Month for May after receiving 5,769 votes from fans (54%). Second place in the poll went to Brazilian midfielder Isaque Silva (2,335 votes), followed by Oleh Ocheretko (1,269) and Mykola Matviienko (1,199). All in all, 10,572 users participated in the club's social media vote.
As a reminder, Lassina Traore featured in Shakhtar’s four matches in May, scoring three goals and providing two assists. In particular, the Burkinian forward registered a goal and an assist in the Clasico against Dynamo (2-1), for which he was named the best player of UPL MD26. The forward also netted a goal and provided an assist in the match against Poltava (4-0) and scored in the game against Kryvbas (3-2).
