In March, the national team will play in the 2026 World Cup qualifying play-offs. The Blue-and-Yellows will host Sweden at the Estadi Ciutat de València (Valencia, Spain) on March 26. On March 31, the Ukrainians will play either in the play-off final against the winners of the Poland vs Albania tie, or in a friendly against the team that lose that tie. Ukraine head coach Serhii Rebrov called up 26 players including 4 Shakhtar representatives: goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk, defenders Valerii Bondar and Yukhym Konoplia, midfielder Oleh Ocheretko. Yehor Nazaryna has been included in the reserve list.

Bolivia, Georgia, Tunisia, Burkina Faso, Brazil U20

Shakhtar defender Diego Arroyo has been called up to Bolivia, who are also preparing for the 2026 World Cup qualifying play-offs. On March 27, the team will face Suriname in the semi-finals, and if successful, they will play Iraq in the final of the qualifiers (March 31).

Shakhtar left-back Irakli Azarov has joined Georgia, who will play two friendly matches – against Israel at home (March 26) and against Lithuania away (March 29).

Central defender Alaa Ghram, together with the Tunisia national team, is preparing for friendly matches in North America against Haiti (March 29) and Canada (April 1).

Shakhtar forward Lassina Traore will help Burkina Faso, who will play two friendly matches – against Sudan (March 28) and Togo (March 31).

Midfielder Isaque Silva and forward Luca Meirelles have received their first call-ups to Brazil U20. The Seleção will play two friendly matches at home against Paraguay U20 (March 29 and 31).
